Technical Assistance (TA) Services

Multi-faceted issues require multi-faceted responses

The MCP Support Center offers an array of services corresponding to the diverse needs and strengths of grantees. These services are provided by a network of consultants and seasoned professionals with firsthand experience in designing and delivering high quality programs.

One-on-one Remote Consultation
Need answers to a challenge facing your organization? Want to know how other organizations handle a particular issue? Looking for resources you can share with your staff? Support Center staff are available via phone or email to answer questions, provide individualized consultation and identify applicable resources available in the online knowledge center.

On-site Consultation
On-site consultations are the most intensive form of TA available. Typically 1-2 days in length, these consultations address program-specific needs and allow grantees access to our diverse pool of staff, expert peers and consultants.

Local Clinics
Clinics are customized consulting or training opportunities specific to a local area or issue. Limited to a small number of participants, clinics can address practical areas that are often stumbling blocks for grantees while creating a learning community around a common issue.

Monthly Newsletters

The Support Center’s electronic newsletter, eMessages, provide grantees with ongoing access to research, upcoming events, funding opportunities and federal announcements.

Networking Opportunities

In addition to networking activities at most events, the Support Center’s online community will serve as a learning exchange where individual programs can share their innovations and effective practices with each other.

Online Resource Library

We find relevant resources used by other organizations every day. From board policy manuals to mentor recruitment ideas, grantees will have immediate access to resources that address real-time issues.

Online Training and Webinars

Webinars combine audio training with web presented material to maximize convenience while providing high quality training.

Skill-based Training

Skill-based training opportunities across the nation offer multiple topical workshops as well as opportunities for grantees to network.

National MCP Conference

The National MCP Conference brings together grantees for three days of learning and networking. Workshops, general sessions and special events highlights best practices, current innovations and upcoming trends in the field and among MCP grantees.
